Welcome from Iowa! Tried the same thing with the smoker tube when I got my new pellet grill. It was a bad decisions, everything I cooked tasted off due to the smoke. But I guess that’s learning and I enjoy learning new things while I’m smoking and the guys at work enjoy the free trial food I bring in.. :-)
