Good looking cooks there as well - nice to have you here.

Pop on by! I'm headed to Louisville (presume that's "the LOU) for my 60th b-day in about 3 months to do some bourbon tours.

I love Maull's! They sell it in certain grocery stores around here. Great stuff.

Yup, it's changed hands away from the Maytag family (Maytag Blue Cheese is the product) but still in my hometown of Newton IA.

I have never heard of the company or seen their product. I'm a blue cheese lover. I may have to look them up. Thanks.

Artisan crafted in small batches from local milk, Maytag Blue Cheese is cave-aged to produce distinctive green veining, creamy texture, and a piquant, zesty flavor that is slightly pungent with a smooth lemony finish.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Glad you could join us! For many years, until they closed, the family tradition for Easter and Christmas was a ham from Antioch Packing. I really miss those hams.

YEAH...Montreal BBQ!!! Interesting that you tap Montreal BBQ. I love the 'Mile End' cookbook. Montreal style smoked meats in Brooklyn, NY. I don't know if they are still in operation, but loved the cookbook with Montreal influence. The Matzo Ball Soup, not Montreal, but Oh....yeah baby!

Oh, and welcome to the board of bbq.

The same! Yeah, my grandfather was the guy who got them into that business in the 1940s and my Dad took the reins as the chief in the mid 1970s when my grandfather passed, and he ran it until he passed in 1992. Company has since been sold to private investors not in the Maytag family, which is a total shame.
