I am new to this membership and hope to learn a lot. I am 60 and have grilled over the last 40 years mostly with a charcoal grill which I no longer use. I have a Masterbuilt propane smoker and have used for many years with some successes and many failures. I have recently purchased a Char-Broil gas grill and have started trying pork ribs on indirect heat with a pellet smoker tube with Traeger Apple pellets. My second try was very flavorful but still tough. Hoping to gain much knowledge from this website.

Welcome to The PIT ! from the LOU. What a beautiful state you live in!
It's great to hear about your cookers, and I'm sure plenty of pit-folk have the same - the talk will be from hands on use when asked. Grab your favorite beverage, sit back and pay us a visit when you can, we look forward to hearing from you.
Tip - pork broth is hard to find. I save the bones and trims to make a couple quarts - smoked pork stock can't be beat.
