Hi everyone. I’m completely new to cooking barbecue but was lucky enough to eat a lot of it when I spent nine months in KC almost 25 years ago, one of the best times of my life. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten was some smoked turkey from a roadside in Arkansas after a float trip down the Buffalo River. I’m looking forward to turning out something edible and hopefully flavoursome. Cheers.

Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed your time in Oz (marriage not withstanding). Sydney and NSW in general is a great place

No worries, I later found "the one" for me, so absolutely no regrets. I have nothing but 100% good memories of your wonderful country. I would move there to retire in a heartbeat if I could meet the required qualifications...

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Welcome from Huntsville, Alabama, USA! Glad to have you onboard, and I look forward to seeing what you are cooking down there.
