Hi I'm Jim and live in Muncie, IN. I have been smoking about 2 years now. I have a RecTeq pellet smoker that I really like using. After retirement I would like to start smoking with a stick burner. I like to cook just about anything ribs, pork butt, chicken, etc....
I met a guy in a supermarket that told me about this website and he was right, so far I am very impressed with what I am seeing. I look forward to learning as much as I can about all that this web site has to offer. Also looking forward to sharing photos and recipes. Happy grilling, smoking, cooking etc.. my friends.

Welcome to the pit from Southern Illinois! Get the stick burner. I like to start a pork butt on the stick burner for the first few hours for the smoke - then move to the pellet grill to finish. Less tending the fire and tastes great.
