Hello from Brisbane, Qld, Australia. Been cooking on a Char griller Akorn for 2 years now ( poor old gas barbie hasnt been fired up since). currently cooking a chuck roll roast and found this page for reminding me of internal temp. Welcome from the northern Virginia burbs of the US capital. I lived in Sydney for three years in the mid-90s and absolutely loved it. Had the chance to spend a week's holiday up on the Sunshine Coast in Qld, based around Noosa. What a gorgeous place! I really loved my time in Australia.
Even though I'm American, I've used proper (that is, metric) units all my career in lab science, and boy how I wish the US would pull its head out and get rid of that silly screwed-up British engineering system (as a beloved physics prof referred to them).
