    Apprentice Smoker

    Smoking Apprentice
Covid-19 Therapy New to forum. Love smoking brisket and whole chicken.
I want to do beef ribs. The whole plate. Suggestions please and recipes. I use a pellet smoker and have added on a large "smoke daddy" to assist with the smoking. It works very well.

                Welcome from St. Cloud, FL.

I do beef ribs (shorts or plate) the same way I do brisket, your brisket does look pretty good so doing beef ribs will be easy. Good luck and send pics of your finished product.

Welcome. If you like sweet beans, then check out the bourbon BBQ recipe on the free site. I don't use the raisins, but soak the apple in bourbon. Never really enjoyed beans until that recipe.

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It’s among the best bargains for a smoker in the world. This baby cooks circles around cheap offset smokers because temperature control is so much easier. Click here to read our detailed review and the raves from people who own them.

The Masterbuilt MPS 340/G ThermoTemp XL Propane Smoker is the first propane smoker with a thermostat, making this baby foolproof. All you need to do is add wood to the tray above the burner to start smokin’. Click here to read our detailed review.
