Grew up in Colorado. Amazing how much science we put into harvesting game (rifles, optics, camo, hand loads, masking scents, etc. etc. etc.) and how little science we put into cooking it. Was abroad for several years, and now settled on an island, and so so so happy to be here. My BBQ has improved more in the past year than my entire adult life. Thank you!!
Rocking: Rec Tec mini, Weber propane, (no charcoal allowed here - significant fire danger), Colorado elk, Wyoming bison, and all the standards! Whoop!
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
