    Hello fellow pitmasters. I've owned a BGE for about 15 years and swear by Memphis Dust. I retired last week, and will now focus on the finer things in life.... smoking and grilling.

    Laissez les bon temps rouler my friend. Welcome to the The Pit. You’ll really like it here. I was born in Ruston, La. Been in Texas most of my life, but I love Louisiana, the food and people are outstanding.

      welcome from SoCal. Congrats on retirement! I've enjoyed many visits to New Orleans and Baton Rouge to visit family friends over the years. I had just about the best red beans I've ever tasted at the Rosedown Plantation in St. Francisville, LA! Welcome to the pit!
