Hey, Gals and Fellas! My name is Brian, and I’m a Mississippi boy transplanted to the suburbs of Detroit. I’ve been in Michigan a dozen years now, so I don’t know how long I can keep claiming I’m from MS, but anywho...

I’m not new to grilling, but I always want to learn more about this fine craft. Many moons ago, after going through culinary school in Memphis, TN, I worked in several fine dining restaurants. However, I’ve always gravitated more towards southern home cooking, and the simplicity of perfectly flame kissed meat (which is not always that simple, I suppose).

Anyway, thanks, and look forward to learning all I can!
