Does anyone here have the "Blue ThermDuo"? Thinking about giving it as a gift, but also thinking of a Maverick.

David Parrish sale doesn't appear to include the Thermapen.

David Parrish Not hard to do, everything is a Thermajigger. In fact, that should be their next device.

I was just going through reviews while you both were posting.

Huskee, since a thermopen was just delivered here yesterday, I looked for a special on thermopens, too, and did not see it on special. Bought the purple close out for $80.

The downside of going through the reviews is that I now have to consider more options (iCelcius, for example), and still don't know if I'm looking for 2 or 4 probes. Why do I buy better stuff for others than I buy/request for me?? GEESH!

Strange as this sounds I'd have bought the purple one, I think it looks nice. I just can't justify another instant read. I'd rather buy a 5th Maverick, lol.

          The purple does look good.

Pity that you don't like Mavericks - they work pretty well! LOL

Huskee I have 8 now. Rec Tec sent me one so now I have 4 that I used and 4 that are still in the box and been thinking about getting the ET-735 😊

I took delivery of the Maverick ET 735 about 3 weeks ago. I bought the 2 extra probes along with the original order. The Bluetooth function is so, so handy. I sit in the house and let my DigiQ Dx2 do its thing on controlling the low temp and then watch the Maverick on my iPad. You can track all 4 probes at once or just 1 at a time.

          You'll like the ET 735.

DWCowles to give a different perspective to Wartface's comment- You have plenty of probes now, and those 732 & 733s using RF can go ~100yds line of sight. I have done a good 60-70 yds myself in my yard when mowing. You're taking a big leap down in distance going to Bluetooth. FWIW. Kitchen table, and your grill's right out the window surely would work fine.

"Why do you have a chain link fence in front of your smoker?"

"What chain link fence? Those are my Maverick wires!"

Huskee I seriously doubt if I will get the 735. The ones that I have are working just fine especially after I put the heat shrink tubes on them. I should have enough Mavericks to fire all the cookers up at the same time. I need to get the WSM out and fire it up I'm sure it feels left out since its been over a year that it has been used.
