I could understand if it was 1000 miles, but if you're not willing to travel 999.1, that's just lazy ;-)
Sad to see your KBQ go. I have both a KBQ and a Yoder, cannot imagine life without both. But if time is an issue you'll like your Yoder it's a great cooker and a with the optional diffuser plate and grill grates it's also one serious searing machine.
I can't disagree, it's a great smoker. Well built, small footprint, and the very first thing you make can turn out amazing.

Rubs:
Usually make my own riff’s on Memphis Dust and BBBR. Also use Meathead’s commercial rubs and occasionally try something new. I like a couple from Tuffy Stone and Kinder’s. After several surgeries, I’m very sensitive to “spicy” stuff, so I need to be careful about heat levels.
