    FREE - Los Angeles area pickup asap! Weber Kettle with GrillGrates, SlowNSear, KettlePizza, Pit Barrel Cooker, misc items

    Hi Everyone,

    I am moving to a new place that sadly is not conducive to cooking with charcoal. Thus I will be giving away my grilling/smoking setup:

    22" Weber Performer Kettle
    Serious Eats Edition KettlePizza (this is the best and highest temp version of the KettlePizza that includes the BakingSteel top)
    SlowNSear
    Set of GrillGrates
    Pit Barrel Cooker (1st Gen)

    Misc items:
    Small and large Weber charcoal chimney

    This is about $1K worth of grilling and smoking cookers that makes killer food. I've made some amazingribs (hah), brisket, wood-fired pizza, tri-tip and ribeyes (reverse-seared of course) on these things.

      Why don't you sell it on Craig's List - it'll go faster and score you $$. You'll get an instant sale selling that performer as is for $ 200.00 The barrel will go in 5 hours at $ 100.00.

            I’m just over an hour away, but if I brought home any more cookers I’d be permanently living a little over an hour away from my house! 🤣🤪🤣🤪🤣

              I appreciate the interest! I will PM those of you who posted here about picking up these items.

              @Bkhuna: no one really is forcing me to stop with the charcoal, but I am moving to a somewhat denser part of town into a multi-unit complex surrounded by other multi-unit complexes. I'm aware that not everyone likes having freshly lit charcoal or wood smoke going into their bedrooms, especially if they aren't partaking in the food - or are vegans haha. It's definitely related to Los Angeles real estate in general: the place I just moved from was built in the 1920s and is being torn down to make way for a higher-unit apartment building. My new place which is in a good location and is very nice in general, doesn't have a suitable garage for a workshop, so I'm getting rid of my heavy power tools as well (jointer, planer, bandsaw, tablesaw). All of this and I'm going to pay 3x in rent what I paid before lol.

              And folks, sorry for the late reply - I'm super busy with life and the move which is the main reason I'm not bothering with trying to sell these on Craigslist. I just don't have the time for looky-loos and haggling, and really, this is my way of indirectly giving back to Meathead, et al, for instilling within me the knowledge and confidence to be an outdoor cook. Lest you think I'm giving up outdoor cooking, I'm not, just doing it in a different form: gas.
