Forgive my ignorance, what are the advantages of a cabinet smoker over an offset or something like an Ole Hickory Pit? Thanks for the help in advance.

Total insulation with low fuel consumption. Less $$ than ole hickory which requires electricity, ole hickory models that don't utilize electricity have fairly short burn times with charcoal. An ole hickory CTO DW would be AWESOME, though!

The other issues are cost (high) and the inability to cook much over 285ish in the OH.
