Wondering if there is a handy person in the Sacramento area willing to (be paid for) replace my Traeger digital controller for a PID controller kit? I'm handy with wood but not electronics. Please let me know. Thanks.

Simple punching into my calculator made me realize that Costco Traeger is returnable plus the savings from not changing the controller puts me at Rec Tec or another prices. Might even stretch into a Yoder or Mak. Lots to think about.

Gotta love Costco's return policy. You're going to be a lot happier with those makes. I wanted a Rec Tec when I bought mine but they don't ship here, at least for a fee that makes sense.
