Need a Wood Supplier in Atlanta, GA area

    Hey all,

I own a BBQ restaurant in Marietta, GA opening soon. I am looking for a reliable wood supplier in the Atlanta metro area for seasoned wood splits.

I am looking for mainly oak but would also be open to pecan, cherry, apple, etc.

Anybody know of a company or individual with a reliable supply who can deliver to me. Please post their info here or email it to me at [email protected].

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Thanks edible hen . I've seen that site before. Over $400 for a cord is ridiculous.

Prices I've seen on CL is anywhere from $200-300 per cord delivered and stacked.

LindleyBBQ I would contact a few of those sellers on CL and work out a deal with whoever has the best quality wood and can reliably supply it. You can maybe get the cost down even more since you will be buying it year round.

I would also suggest getting a moisture meter just in case someone is less than honest with you. It should be easy to find out what moisture level you need and how to use the meter. Amazon has them for $15 with a 4.5 star rating.

Yes josht138 ! We are just south of the Square at the corner of Glover St and Atlanta St. 547 Atlanta St to be exact.

We plan to open in mid-April of 2017 as Freckled & Blue Kitchen. Our smokehouse with all of our BBQ meats and catering is called Lindley BBQ.

Hope to serve you there at some point this year!
