BBQ Box - subscription

This popped up in my Facebook newsfeed. If you have ever heard of any of the monthly subscription boxes like Birchbox, Taster's Club, Dollar Shave Club, etc...

If you aren't familiar it works like this. You subscribe to the service/company, answer some questions, pay the monthly subscription, and monthly they send you a custom filled box with product, samplers, etc... based on the questions you answered.

Anyway I saw an ad for BBQBox.com and thought it looked interesting. Your box is suppose to contain: One sauce or marinade, one spice or rub, one delicious edible (jerky, etc...), one sample package of premium wood chips, one custom recipe from Myron Mixon showing what you can do with the contents of said box.... all for 24.99 + S&H per month....

Might be an interesting way to get to sample something new every month... if you are willing to cough up the subscription cost...

I subscribed to this service and recently received my first box. It contained Myron's pork rub, hog sauce, maple wood chips, bacon jerky, and his recipe for pork butt using all those ingridients sans the jerky. Cooked it up yesterday and we're enjoying the results.

Awesome! What did you think? They said the first box is kind of a standard welcome box and then after that it is more based on your question responses.... I think.
