This is MAK 1 Star serial number 5! One of the first built and was used by Meathead Goldwyn while he was doing research for AmazingRibs.com. It's a little piece of BBQ history! Still in excellent working condition... just did a 24 hour brisket cook and she kept up like it was nothing. If you're looking for a smoker that you don't have to tend to for hours and hours this is the one. You can set multiple cook stages and have the temp different for each stage. If you get the optional probes you can even have the cooker drop to holding temp when your food is done! Don't waste your money on those cheap Chinese built pellet smokers that never quite give you want you want. Get the best at a great price!
