Firebox built of 1/4" carbon plate. I believe cooking chamber is also 1/4". It is certainly no less than 3/16".
Solid stainless liquid tight shelf inside cooking chamber creates the reverse smoke flow. As stated, it is liquid tight making it suitable to flood with water or a preferred juice etc. Also can flood for cleaning purposes, utilizing the ball valve controlled center drain.
I use it with my Rock's BBQ Stoker System, but this is not necessary. Heavy steel is very easy to command and maintain desired temps. I live in Almond, NY. Winters are of EXTREME cold. Once brought to temp, the thick gauge maintains the temp easily.
Firebox output is damper controlled.
Twin chimneys allow supreme fine tuning.
Also included are two racks for 2nd tier simultaneous cooking. (see pics)
This is a fine working smoker. My children are done with school & college and out of the coop, just no need for this size any longer.
