Hey pitmasters, been awhile since I’ve logged on.
looks like I might be cashing out in life and downsizing for awhile and am curious what kind of price would you all put on selling a Weber Smokey 22
it has Cajun bandit door , wheels and lid hinge ….. is 500$ out of the question??? Thanks in advance! Smoke on
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
A coupled of things to think about. Did you get your money’s worth of use out of it? Did it have a warranty when you purchased it? If it isn’t transferable that value is lost. How long can you wait to get a buyer? There longer you can wait the higher price you might get. The add ons are like the add ons on a new car their value depreciates rapidly. I hope the answers to the questions helps you establish a realistic price that will sell in the timeframe you need.
At least with a car you can generally swap back to stock and sell the add-ons separate (though sometimes not worth the cost/effort) where as there's even a smaller market for some BBQ add-ons... but at least it's a Weber which increases the odds.
Your location isn’t listed, which might make a difference, but $500 would be a pipe dream around here. I’d guess maybe $300-350, IF you find someone that really wants the accessories. Good luck!
This one is listed at $225 about 15-20 minutes from my house. I've got (2) 22's already or else I'd snag it. I think $300 would be top dollar for yours with the accessories if it's in great condition. Listing at $500 will probably get zero clicks.
I'm sorry to hear you have to sell it though.
I only found 1 22" model, and I am not sure it is a legit sale because it is advertised as new. All of the 18" models are advertised in the mid to low $200 range.
There is an 18" with extras and a custom cart with asking price of $250.
I dunno, check FB market place and Craigslist and see if any are listed.
Coincidentally I am decluttering and the garage is next on the list. Got rid of the pressure washer yesterday by giving it to our grand daughter and her husband as they just moved into a new house. Other items such as workbench and cabinets to follow. Also a Weber Smoky Mountain 22" (with multiple accessories) has to go and the community is having a garage sale on the 18th. I was considering a $50 price tag, but you guys talking hundreds may make me greedy.
