Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Here's the thing: would you rather have an Akorn for $279, or a Weber Performer for $399? My only, and I mean ONLY, problem I have with my BGE is that sometimes the 18" grate is a bit small for what I'm doing.
I might do this one. Deal is good through the 18th.
Mosca, Tom, You are just too Damned Logical for Me! I had put the Weber Charcoal Summit on the Back Burner because of The $'s! Now you Point this Akorn Deal out and I have a Dilemma on my mind! Thanks for the Home Depot Link! 😙ðŸ¤â€Ã°Å¸Ëœâ€¡Ã°Å¸Â¤â€Ã°Å¸Ëœâ„¢

Gave it to a neighbor. I gave it away for free but he's been repaying me with wood chunks from his hunting camp. He's got hickory and cherry and it's very good stuff!
Mosca I expand my Large BGE and add some versality with the Rig and Rig extender from https://ceramicgrillstore.com/. I also have a Max Mini with the plate setter. I picked it up almost $200 below market at the Athens, TX Eggfest. No one signed up to cook on them, so instead of a 4 hour used one I got a new one. I am still learning to cook on it. My son-in-law has a Joe Jr. The Joe Jr and the Mini Max are built differently. The Joe Jr has a deeper fire box and can convert from using the plate setter to grill faster. I haven't measured them, but I think the Min Max had a wider firebox which I think will make it better for grilling.

What decision you make might depend on how many you routinely cook for, and, what you cook. I love my Akorn, but it is just not suitable for a ton of low and slow food. The Weber is. I don't use any kamado for 2 zone cooking, as I can get the same flavor with other methods. And, no, I won't tell anyone how I do this...lol
