SOLD- Grilla OG in Central Florida (Summerfield)

    Price: Make me an offer.

I purchased my Grilla OG Alpha Connect new in November 2023 and I'm not using it as much as I thought I would and I need the floor space. I've had no issues with it. Comes with cover, upper rack, grease bucket and a few bags of pellets (Grilla, Royal Oak Charcoal). I have kept it covered and vacuum out the pellets in the auger after each cook and keep the fire pot cleaned out. Must pick up. Originally Asking $425.

I'm located in Summerfield FL, northeast of The Villages, off US Highway 441/27 in southern Marion County. I'm a couple of miles from the Walmart Supercenter located at 17961 US-441, Summerfield, FL 34491.

Edited to state that it’s an Alpha Connect.

My wife is in Japan until August and made me promise not to by a cooker while she was gone, otherwise I'd be there tomorrow.

Sell one and make it cost neutral! No complaints then!

She was referring to new, not once in a lifetime opportunities….

So, no email or phone service in Japan? Just wondering….

That's a great price on a very clean and excellent pellet rig. Good luck!

... and FWIW, I'm pretty sure an OG that new is an Alpha Connect model ... but you might want to add that detail to your listing to distinguish it from the older versions.

Man, if it wasn't an 8.5 hour drive each way, I'd be heading your way right now to take you up on a great deal! I guess its good for my bank account that I can't justify spending all weekend in the truck...

barelfly interestingly enough, fuzzydaddy and I did meet in person halfway from my home in North Alabama to exchange some BBQ stuff back in 2020. But that was when he lived in Tennessee about an hour north of here…. I don’t think he wants to meet halfway when we are 10 hours apart…. That plus my wife would kill me if I told her I was bringing home another smoker, and spending a day doing it!

Wow! What a deal! Maybe I do need to come see your new house, and nab that Grilla, haha! . Sadly I would have to factor in the gas for the trip, with a Silverado that gets 13mpg around town, and I can't say what the highway mileage would be. Not very good for sure!

Yeah I just did the math, and it would cost me about $250 in gas to come pick it up in the truck and haul it back...

I am messaging a friend who used to be on here, but isn't anymore, who lives in Orlando, in case he is interested.

If I can’t sell it at $300 soon I’ll probably look at donating it to a local organization.

Price: Make me an offer. Any amount. If not sold soon, I’ll look for a local place to donate it.

I hate you are having such trouble selling this great cooker. I just wish I could justify the drive to pick it up from you. I told one buddy in Orlando about it, but he was happy with his current Camp Chef Woodwind smoker. I'll reach out to the guys in my Orlando office one more time this afternoon.

I hope you find a buyer that will step up with a fair offer. If not, I've had luck donating such things to fire stations. They all seem to love outdoor cooking and I imagine a good pellet rig that can be left safely unattended for a while when they get called away would seem ideal.

Exactly what I was thinking. Second would be a re-sale store that’s run by a local charity, of which we have 2 or 3.

The OG has a new home, finally. Day 2 of new windows installation and one of the guys, Brent (same name as my Son) and I started talking about outdoor cooking and he was pretty excited about it. He had been looking for a new cooker, but it would be Christmas, maybe. He enjoys cooking for his family and neighbors. One of his neighbors was another guy doing the window installation. I showed him the OG asked him would he like to have it. He asked how much. I responded by telling him it would be a gift. He was extremely grateful and happy. I also gave him a bottle of Meathead’s Red Meat seasoning. I love how things work out sometimes.
