MAK 2 Star FS - San Clemente, CA

Inspired by He-Who-Remains-Nameless (from TX) , I have finally decided to downside a bit and sell my 2018 MAK 2 Star. Main reason is that I almost exclusively smoke for just me as my wife does not like smoked food, so she won't just about anything that comes off the MAK. Maintaining the MAK for just an occasional smoke is getting a bit rough for me as well due to arthritis, especially for the once/twice yearly "deep" cleaning that I like to do.

It is a 2018 model, which means it has only 1 upper shelf and the main grates. It does have the upgraded Pellet Boss Controller with the WiFi module (MAKs today come with the WiFi pre-installed). It has the same Flamezone setup as current MAKs, I upgraded the thermocouple of the remote style current MAKs use as well. It has the full lower cabinet and a 1-year-old cover.

I am asking $300, local pickup only. I also have about 40 lbs of Bear Mountain pellets, some Bradley-style racks and some plastic containers for holding the pellets. I am also throwing in a never used Grilltastic electric grill brush. I frankly forgot I had it - Doh! Here are some pics. Please PM me if interested, or you know someone who might be interested.

That's a hell of a deal, since you already have the K-probe controller the only cost to make it 99% a current 2 star is buying the grate rack conversion kit and roaming thermocouple kit from MAK.

Which would still have the buyer under the going price for these things!

Also not 100% sure but I believe the lifetime warranty on the ignitor transfers, and even if it doesn't... if it burns out and the buyer needs a new one, they will get a lifetime ignitor warranty on that purchase.

It does have the roaming thermocouple. I was one of the beta testers for it. I love that functionality.

if it works out, first thing to do is call MAK and register the SN to you. They're going through some changes so there's been some hiccups with customer service but they're still pretty quick to respond if any issues arise.

I'm hoping someone on (or should it be "in"?) The Pit from SoCal finds this attractive or knows someone who would want it. It still runs great and is solid as a rock. I always keep my cookers covered, and being 304 SS throughout, no weather "wear and tear". We'll see...

I can list in the MAK group for you after the pit has had a chan e to decline. Would suggest you come up to 1200 asking for outside the pit though

GolfGeezer if it's ok I asked my "sister" (my best friend growing ups sister, but she counts for all the torment we gave each other as kids) in Perris if they would be interested in the grill. I would expect an answer by tomorrow if someone from here hasn't already grabbed it.
