After lots of contemplation, I've decided to sell my trusty Vision Kamado, which comes with an incredible amount of accessories, as listed below. I've cooked many superb briskets, pork butts, burgers, etc. on this baby, but I've decided to downsize to just my pellet smoker. Local pickup only - Poulsbo, Washington (across the Puget Sound from Seattle).
$800 OBO
Highlights:
**BBQ Guru DigiQ DX2 temperature controller (two channels, one for pit and one for meat). Four extra probes, mounting bracket and clamp. Pit Viper fan. Power Supply and storage bag. Perfectly controls temps for low and slow cooks. AC power supply provides 12 volt DC, so could be easily converted to battery power if needed. (Not wifi enabled).
**Ceramic Grille Store (CGS) adjustable rig spider combo with rig extender, woo ring, stainless grid, oval stone, two half heat deflectors, two zone half-rack, drip pan, and probably more that I'm forgetting. Bottom line - you can cook just about anything with these accessories.
**Kick Ash basket with divider and charcoal rake (original cast iron grate included).
**Cast iron vent cap (replaced original sheet metal cap)
**New cover
**1 1/2 bags of lump charcoal
**Several weber fire starters and a box of matches
**Ash bucket and shovel
**Partial bags of apple and hickory wood chunks
Notes:
Wood side tables and lift handles are slightly weathered. Easy fix with some sandpaper and wood finish.
Original thermometer has been removed and hole plugged with RTV. You don't really need the thermometer with the BBQ guru, but I sometimes would push one of the Guru probes through the RTV to monitor ambient temps.
The original fire bowl cracked and I repaired it with furnace adhesive. But I later purchased a new fire bowl from Vision, so the repaired fire bowl is now a backup.
