    M Grills- in Mesquite, TX

Hello everyone. My name is Travis Magee, owner of M Grills in Mesquite, Texas. I wanted to introduce myself and my company to not only inform people on my grills, but to also share my own bbq and company experiences.

We have a large machine shop where we manufacture our grills 100% in house in Mesquite, Texas (DFW Area). We came out with the Texas shaped grill a couple of years ago with great success. Since I grill and smoke regularly, I wanted to design a grill and smoker that would last forever (like our Texas grills), but have a unique look rather than creating a traditional barrel style cooker. After a few R&D tests, the M1 was born. The M1 is our latest cooker and now by far our most popular. The entire grill is made of 10 gauge steel and looks beautiful on the patio. All grates are 1/4" thick 304 solid stainless. It features elevation adjustable charcoal grate for searing or baking. It has a fully welded baffle in a reverse airflow configuration for indirect smoking. The firebox is integrated within the grill with an easy access door. This grill makes a terrific stick burner! The lid is custom built on the body for superior fitment. No gaps, heavy duty hinges, Tel-Tru thermometers, stainless steel hardware and counters. There is no other production grill on the market built at this level. Our motto is Handcrafted, Made in Texas, and Built to Last.

Thank you and I look forward to future discussions and meeting some talented grill masters on this site.

Travis I'm going to move this to the For Sale or Trade channel since your post is more of a product information post rather than personal introduction in nature.

                      Thank you everyone.

I definitely plan on hanging around. I've been going on Amazingribs.com for years now for tips and tricks. It's by far one of my favorite websites for all things bbq.

I grill and smoke a lot. My favorite meat to smoke is brisket. Being a native Texan, I love a good tender brisket with a nice crisp bark. I primarily smoke with post oak with very little charcoal (just to get the heat going). From there its all about the wood.

I appreciate everyones warm welcome and look forward to a personal and business relationship with Amazingribs.com!

Good to have you Travis. I was in Dallas last month. Ate at Lockhart's Smokehouse. That place is legit. I've also been to Pecan Lodge but that was back in 2014. That was an excellent brisket as well. Probably better even.

Oh yea. Lockhart and Pecan Lodge are both very good choices for Dallas area bbq. Got my mouth watering a bit now. haha
