That's what I was wondering - I have a couple of those Maverick units, they still work fine, but I have been using my Fireboard for a couple of years. Although I did just break out one of the Mavericks to use over Labor Day to do some additional monitoring when I had several cooks going at once.
I've got a few of the probes, I don't know how many of them are working though, I know at least one of the ones I tried to use recently was not working. I didn't bother testing other probes at that time.
These Maverick thermometers are super great units for those who don't care about WiFi or Bluetooth capability, etc.
