Wanted: BBQ Guru adapter for Weber Kettle

Yeah, the BBQ Guru folk charge steeply for shipping. I kept putting off getting a guru adapter for my kamado hoping for free shipping, and finally gave up and ordered it.

I'm in the same boat. I just can't bring myself to pay for that crazy shipping charge.

Its easier to justify the steep shipping if you are buying more than just the adapter. When I bought a BBQ Guru adapter for my SNS Kamado last November, based on the receipt I just dug out of my email, I had a coupon code for free shipping, and paid solely for the $27.50 adapter. Maybe they had a pre-Thanksgiving sale?

Best I can suggest is subscribe to their mailing list, and keep an eye out for a free shipping offer.

I have been subscribed for years and sadly I've never seen a free shipping coupon code. And I think the adapter for 27.50 is already steep. $45 total for that is nuts.

Luckily I've already paid once and own one but I would like 1 or 2 more so I can leave them on my kettles and not have to switch them out when I use different ones.

I already have all the other parts, and more extra probes than I will use in my life. If no one here has one, I can try The Weber Kettle Club.
