I was working on another cutting board when someone PM'ed me that he would like to buy one.
I told him he could have first refusal on the board once done. After seeing photos, he told me he would take it and I said OK. He has since let me know that it's to big for his space, so it's available for $225 plus shipping. Post here if interested, and I will draw a winner in a few days depending on the interest.
This is called a brick pattern and is made from cherry and maple. It's approximately 19.5" x 15" x 1.5".

I love the way the grain shows.

This sure was easier than what I did in the past so I have decided that I will just offer the option of getting on a list for future boards. If you would be interested in getting a board from me, you can PM me and I will put you on the list. When your name comes up I will send you some photos and the price and you will have first refusal on that board. If ya don't want it, I'll go to the next person on the list. You will still be # 1 on the list if you don't want the current board. I will make what I want, and you can buy what you want. I don't expect everyone to like every board I make.
I will keep the list confidential so no one feels pressure to buy "this" board. Once sold, I will post the board and who bought it. Prices will vary depending on size, thickness, and amount of work going into the board. A small edge grain board will be cheaper than a large end grain board, and patterns will also cost more. The buyer will pay for shipping.
Prices will start at less the $100 and will normally go as high as the mid $200s. I have some ideas that could go over $300, but I need more practice before I have the precision to get the results I want.
If you are interested in a cutting board, PM me and I will add you to a list. There will be absolutely no obligation to buy.
There will probably be 4 to 6 boards a year unless I run out of projects. However, I have family, friends and relatives, so projects do keep popping up....
