Found some older Booker’s.

I was waiting for my daughter to get some dental work done and I went to grab a bite to eat. I saw an unremarkable bars-over-the-glass liquor store and decide to poke my head in and see if they had anything interesting (Narrators voice: They did).

Picked up this bottle of Bookers 2015-04. It was just sitting there dusty on the shelf. I took the plexi cover off to get rid of the glare for the pic but the box is fully intact. Never had Bookers before. Very excited. I can’t imagine there are many left from 2015.

Interesting bottle and label. Not a drinker so I didn’t know anything like this was created or sold.

It’s definitely different. They only release about six batches a year and every batch is conceivably different tasting.

I have owned a drank 3 bottles of Bookers. One bottle was one of the best bourbons I have ever tasted. Accordingly I have kept the empty bottle in my liquor cabinet to remind me. I still see them from time to time. In fact I saw one in a small town liquor store near our summer cottage last summer. If it is still there this summer I am going to buy it. It is in the old box with the sliding wood lid.
