Anyone Tried This?

Headed to Galveston next weekend, rum of course is on the menu. Have a few in my stash to try, this being one, anyone ever had it? Grabbed it on vacation. Back in March.

I haven't. Several of my old school favorites are no longer available and all the new stuff is way to heavy on the Vanilla. I swear, they must be adding vanilla extract to some of these.

Put the rum bottle in the Rum thread that Richard Chrz created. Perhaps people are following that thread and can comment.

I don’t see Mezcal mentioned much on the board. But hopefully someone can offer something up. I don’t care for mezcal - that smokiness gets me.

texastweeter if you ever get a chance, buy these two. The Plantation aisle of Figi is my favorite, even over XO, also the Bacardi 10, probably my top two pours in my rum line up right now, do not try the Bacardi 8 though, it’s a disappointment after having the 10.

Plantation XO opened my eyes to rum. Prior to it, I was a bourbon or single male snob. I'll keep my eyes peeled in my travels
