Hello all! I thought I'd share my recipe for a beautiful English Summer Lemonade. You can make this either hard or soft. This also works really nicely with a french press for coffee!
Take four unwaxed lemons (very important they are not waxed). Cut them into slices the thickness of coins.
Place into a jug or french press and pour over 1.5 litres of boiling water. Mix in as much sugar as you like. A couple of tablespoons should do the trick.
Allow to chill then add the following -
Chopped mint
A few spoonfuls of elderflower cordial
Soda if you want some fizz
A generous glug of gin if you want something harder.
Perfect for sitting in the garden with!
Enjoy
