Took the plunge on Coffe Syrup. Apparently Coffee Milk is NOT made with coffee and milk but rather Coffee Syrup and Milk. I heated the milk to better dissolve the Syrup and offer some warmth since the Syrup was also coming out the fridge.
2 tablespoons per 8oz milk. Pretty darn good. Gives a nice caramel color.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Hey, coffee milk! It's a Rhode Island thing...up there with Jonnycakes, hot wieners, and Del's lemonade. You don't need to overthink it...it's coffee milk in the same way that chocolate milk is chocolate milk. I don't drink it myself, since I'm too sensitive to caffeine to deal with coffee in any form, but my partner loves the stuff, since it's her childhood.
You had my attention when you mentioned Del’s. Great lemonade. Professor from up there setup a Summer business on our boardwalk selling it from little carts. That was the summer job for three of my kids when they were young. They would bring home a gallon almost every night courtesy of the owner.
