Forthwith: a minor rant. I have developed a taste for V8 juice. The label cracks me up. Big print: Original 100% Vegetable Juice. But there are also low sodium, and spicy versions. How can that be, if 100% juice? Different blends of vegetables?
Fine print: with added ingredients.
So the juice that is in it is all vegetable? But it also has ascorbic and citric acid. Maybe those are liquids but not juices?
Perhaps a package consisting of 30% hamburger and 70% hamburger helper could be marketed as 100% beef, with added ingredients.
That's all folks.
Is there tomato juice in it? Then it is part vegetable juice and part fruit juice. In a V8, the juice from the vegetables is 100% vegetable juice kind of like if you squeeze a lemon, 100% of the juice coming out is lemon juice. Clear as mud?
