Favorites: Pastrami; Pork Ribs
Cookers: Medium Big Green Egg; Older Weber Genesis 3
Current Favorite Lump Charcoal: Rockwood
Favorite Commercial Rub: Dizzy Pig IPA hops infused (Dizzy Pig Raging River a close second)
Most requested side dish: Stir fried green beans with soy sauce and garlic
Favorite non-cooking activity - listening to music
Region: Currently Norther Virginia/DC area. I grew up in Southern NY and have spent a lot of Time in Northeast Ohio
I am somewhat reluctant that I use a large Yeti. Years ago I thought they were all hype. Then the hardware store give out some at the company party and I got one. It keeps things hot/col as well as a thermos and they are more convenient and cleanable. I usually have one with coffee and another with iced tea that I sip from all day if at home.
They are not perfect, but they do have good thermal properties. If you buy one see if you can get the plain stainless (original version) as the super heavy duty plastic film is not and the bits of plastic come off and probably choke poor sea turtles at some future date.

I am probably going to be rather unique in my "coffee cup". I am very sensitive to hot liquids and absolutely can not drink fresh out of the pot. I started using my wife's Tupperware measuring cup so that it would cool down faster...
That was many many moons ago, about fifty years or more... I purchased additional cups so that I could have a couple for coffee and she would have at least one for measuring. I tried other versions of the plastic measuring cups but they just did not feel right. I am now down to one deeply stained cup that is very well protected from damage or loss. I tried to de-stain it several years back but to no avail...
When I am in public without my cup I have to add ice or wait a long time for it to cool down. When I was at IBM's NASA location at Clear Lake, we would take coffee breaks in the cafeteria, timed for the arrival of certain mini skirted secretaries, and I would cap my cup, enjoy the scenery with the other guys and drink the coffee back at my desk...
