I saw this in a bourbon cocktail book. They call it a "Nightfall" but it's basically a boilermaker with chocolate bitters, 2oz of high rye bourbon & stout. I used Aztec Chocolate Bitters, (hidden behind the glass)
In a pint glass use 3 dashes of chocolate bitters, add the bourbon and fill the glass with stout.
it's pretty damn good!

Hmmm…
(Puts chocolate bitters into shopping cart. LOL)
I used Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate bitters.
Chocolate bitters worked really well with the Guiness, but I imagine that it would be crazy good with a chocolate stout.
Seeing that Guinness, brings back memories of having that on tap as well as a Black & Tan every time I went to Williamsburg VA on business. I need to try the chocolate bitters with a chocolate or maybe a coffee stout.
Last cocktail of the night, I think!
John Collins...2oz bourbon, 1oz lemon juice, 1/2oz simple syrup shaken in ice, strained into an ice-filled highball glass..
