I have Angostura Original Bitters, their Orange Bitters and their Chocolate Bitters. I’m looking to get some Apple Bitters to experiment with. Angostura does not make an Apple Bitters.
Anybody have an Apple Bitters they use and enjoy?
Im thinking an Old Fashioned using Apple Bitters and Maple Syrup would be delicious.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I’ve not come across apple bitters. Hella seems to be one brand that offers a great variety, but I don’ know they make apple. Searching for apple bitters, there are some available, and probably more boutique style brands. Middleton was one I recognized, and that’s the company I purchased my smoke top from.
And to second Huskee comment on Black Walnut bitters…that and orange are my go to for my Old Fashioneds.
But I’m looking forward to hearing more on your OF with apple bitters!

Well, Hella does make an Apple Blossom Bitter. I have not seen this at the Total Wine I regularly shop at, but it is in stock at the other TW in Albuquerque. I may have to go get this just to try.
I have not really cared for the brown sugar bourbons I’ve tried, but with the apple blossom bitter and cinnamon… bourbon apple cinnamon roll!
