Alcohol was not considered essential and therefore all liqueur stores were closed to the public from lockdown that started 26 March including the sale of cigarettes
The initial 3 weeks has been extended by a further 2 weeks since.
The amount of looting of liqueur stores across the country has been on the increase and plenty of arrests.
My son's beer stash ran out about a week ago and to keep him from ending up in jail I gave him a recipe for homemade apple beer 😊
Sampling after 6th day.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

It was supposed to be pineapple beer but there were none available at the store so we substituted the pines with apples.
Hey they know better than to not consider booze essential here in the U.S.. 1920's proved that. Having said that if I was not considered in essential industry I would be home making my hard cider. Made it year or 2 ago and was super dry and tiny bubbles like a champagne. Neighbors loved it.
