I've stuck with Miller. Great mow-the-yard-babysit-the-smoker-sitting-outside kinda beer. And it says "Champagne of Beers" right on the bottle, so it must be true! But I wouldn't turn down a PBR if offered...
Not sure I'd mix PBR with some of that other stuff. I sense a headache brewing...
We used to call a beer and tomato juice a poor-man's bloody mary -- of course, it wasn't limited to PBR, although I think we used that on occasion, and we frequently used Old Style.
Michelada: A tangy mix of PBR, lime juice, and spicy seasonings. for the win
There's nothing wrong with a cold PBR on a hot day...and this is coming from someone who doesn't even blink when I drop $40.00 on a 4-pack of Dogfish Head 120 IPA. You like what you like!
Well I am definitely in the minority here, but as I have said in previous posts, I love PBR. In fact I drink it almost daily. Yes I definitely enjoy what might be called upscale beers. Actually I love almost ALL beer. But growing up and living most of my life in Milwaukee, WI, drinking and enjoying PBR is a very natural thing.
Now what I don’t understand is how the light beer drinkers of the world bad mouth PBR. I just can’t drink the stuff.
Anyway, to each their own. Cheers!!
