    PBR may have to switch

As I was finishing a PBR tall boy I read it was from California. Say it ain't so, Joe.
I was thinking that I may have to stop with the PBR so as not to offend others on this site. Not really!
I do like the Local Micro Brew 10 Barrel Pub Beer. Pub Beer – 10 Barrel Brewing Co.

Using AI and an internet search I found this
Pabst Blue Ribbon beer is produced by the Pabst Brewing Company, which is headquartered in Los Angeles, California12. The company brews its beer in multiple locations across the United States and beyond, including Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Fort Worth, Texas; Baldwinsville, New York; and even Vancouver, Canada1. PBR, along with Pabst’s legacy beers, is currently brewed in Milwaukee by MillerCoors2. However, the contract will be up in 2020, at which point the brand will once again be in danger of disappearing2.

I am thinking of switching to Pub Beer to support a local brew company.
PBR may stand for Pub Beer Revired. What do you all think?

I'd be concerned that switching to a good beer might be a shock to your system 😛

I think your taste buds will say thank you for switching. I fully support the shift to a good craft beer.

      PBR: Milwaukee-Brewed…By MillerCoors.

PBR, along with Pabst’s legacy beers, is currently brewed in Milwaukee by MillerCoors. The contract was set to end in 2020, and MillerCoors attempted to terminate the deal at that time. But PBR filed a $400 million lawsuit, and the companies reached a settlement to continue joint operations while the jury was deliberating. The terms of the agreement are unknown, but it appears PBR is safe, for now

      Irony at its best…

I say drink what you like and what works for the situation. You might not sip PBR (or Hamm's) for its layers of flavor, but you also likely don't chug a java stout on a hot day. Drink what you like.

What? You don't stand on your head and drink stout from a funnel?

Does Hamm's still come from the land of sky-blue waters?

You should do what makes you happy. Drink what you like.

10 Barrel is owned by Budweiser. It’s a good beer, but not really a local beer anymore

PBR is owned by a company that buys legacy products and reinvigorates them. Most of these products are in bankruptcy and discontinued. Much to the credit of this company, they try to recreate the original formula. Pabst is a good example of that. It seems to my unsophisticated taste (I'm originally from Milwaukee, my Jr. High was in a former Schlitz office building!) that it has a distinctive hoppy taste. Great for beer can chicken, by the way. There are a thousand excellent micro-brewed beers. But, only one Pabst.

Right or wrong - and it aint wrong , PBR is my favorite! I have bud light in the keg in the garage but that's only because the PBR kegs are about 30-40$ more expensive here in Florida for some reason.
