Sierra Nevada Big Little Thing IPA

In Whole Foods today and I saw this. I'm a big fan of this brewery. From the seasonal Celebration to Torpedo, Hazy Little Thing their Pale Ale and now this. Got bought a 12 pack ,what I didn't realize, ABV is 9%. I'm enjoying this. Debating on a second.

Bigger, Hazier, Juicier! This Hazy Imperial IPA is packed with juicy hop flavors and a big 9.5% ABV, all wrapped up in smooth drinkability. Notes of orange are prominent, along with more citrus from the huge hop lineup—is that a hint of yuzu? There’s also a nice underlying sweetness of berry. Explore More Flavor Available in 19.2-oz and 12-oz cans.

Yeah a couple of their IPAs are stupid high ABV, but most of them are really good. Haven't tried that one though.

This looks like another great choice to hunt for next time I am getting beer. I usually only try to drink 9% and above so perfect.

Sierra Nevada was one of the pioneering craft brewing operations, founded by former homebrewers (or at least its initial incarnation, New Albion, was). Absolutely great beers across the board. Celebration Ale is one of my absolutely top desert-island beers...

I tried this beer too, and it's too big for me, but it's a great example of what's basically a barleywine. Don't operate that heavy equipment if you have multiple!

I love imperial IPA’s. The local brewery usually has a couple of them on tap

I really enjoy their beers, and that is a great example. It is STRONG - I'm not doing multiples unless i'm camped out on the back porch for a while.

Yea, at 9% ABV it's not for the faint to heart.

That’s a nice brew - I picked up a variety pack and had this and Hazy little thing, a Pilsner and something else I forget - all were good.

Beware the Lagunitas lil' sumpin sumpin - it is a great IPA but there is a variety of it with a subtle "wild" label. I bought some of those by mistake, drank three and woke up wondering what happened.
