Anything that’s not "too". Too hoppy, too yeasty, too strong, too sour, etc.
Thats not a vote for the middle ground, though. It’s a vote for balance. Extreme beers tend to be flawed beers. An IPA with a good malt balance is better than an aggressively bitter IPA. To me, anyhow.
I like everything, Belgian triples probably my favorite (Karmeliet, Westmalle, St Bernardus).
In warmer weather I really dig sours/lambics (recently tried one from Wild Ales, a strawberry sour, that was just awesome). In the winter I jump around more, like German-style lagers, porters, stouts, and Beligan dubbles/quads. I like IPAs too but prefer them less hop-extreme (NEIPAs are right up my alley).
I like Bud light, Blue Moon, or Yuengling light. In the younger years, it was the beast light (Milwaukee's best light) for $10 a case. Not a big fan of dark and IPA type beers.
After free & cold, I like porters and stouts. 2 of my favorite porters are Coco Burrito by Shoe Tree brewery out of Carson City, Nevada and Double Nut Brown from Mammoth Lakes Brewery in Mammoth Lakes, Ca.
