Dad and I traveled to Fredericksburg today, we went to Allmans BBQ for lunch. We got the 3 meat sampler with ribs, pulled pork, and chopped brisket, shout out to them for adding a couple of extra ribs since we were sharing. For sides we got the 4 sides sampler with baked beans, Mac-n-Cheese, Brunswick Stew and hushpuppies. Dad's favorite was the ribs, I think mine was the Brisket followed closely by the ribs. For sides we both agreed the beans and Mac-n-Cheese were equally the best of the sides. Definitely a must try if you are in Fredericksburg, VA area. Also, got a picture of their offset smoker.

Too bad our house sit on almost exactly the same latitude as Fredericksburg, but is 121.5 miles away as the crow flys or I’d visit soon. Still, we do go to Charlottesville and Staunton every Summer and take the back-way via Fredericksburg so hopefully we can try it. Thanks for posting and reviewing.

RonB I used to go one that was right off I 95 just south of Philip Morris, We loved it for lunch because they had a family style "buffet" where you ordered your meat and sides and it was all you could eat...
I think there is still an Allmans in Chester, I don't think anyone of them were related. The one near Philip Morris turned into a Subway.

WSM 22.5", Pitmaster IQ110, Weber 22.5" Kettle with SNS, Weber 14" Smokey Joe.
Looks good. That Brunswick stew looks completely different than what I'm used to. They have a big auto auction up there that I've been to a few times about 20 years ago. In the winter that lot gets windy and COLD.
