For beef, ZZQ is mentioned in most of the "best of" lists I have seen. One writer said it has the best brisket east of TX. The brisket is very good, but I don't remember sides being great. They might be great, I just don't remember. The last time I was there, I got an onion tart as a side. It was mostly crust and I would not recommend it. If ya want a good burger, ZZQ has opened a small burger restaurant next door called Eazzy burger that's very good. It also has very good fries and great onion rings and the brewery next door will deliver beer to your table.
For pork, I don't have a standout. You might want to try Q Barbeque. It's owned by Tuffy Stone and has 2 locations. One in Glen Allen and another in Midlothian. The shredded pork is good, an SWMBO likes the ribs. The brisket is a bit dry. The Midlo store is only about 10 min from home. -

fracmeister - ZZQ is one of my top BBQ joints, unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays. I haven't been to Q in years but it was good when I have been there. Buzz n Ned's is a popular place, I have only been to the current location once and the wings were ok.
I checked a couple of other places and they either aren't open on Tuesday or aren't open for lunch.
Ronb mentioned EAZZYBURGER that would be an excellent option, not bbq but owned by ZZQ's owners. Plus if you like craft beer it is located next to a brewery and you can get beer from the brewery at the restaurant.
