Another good one is https://www.smokecraftbbq.com. We rarely eat BBQ out, but have enjoyed this place. Also, their competition team scored well at some of the KCBS contests we've judged.

Late to the game, I know, but thanks for sharing. I'll definitely try it.
Texas Jack on Washington Blvd is my personal favorite in that area. Love their short rib - homemade is always best, but that one is a close second.
EDIT: I just saw the pic in the Ruthie's article. Looks like some follow up investigation is needed. ðŸ˜
