We are headed to Austin some time this fall to visit our son. He has been in Austin for a number of years, and we always try to hit a different BBQ joint every trip. However, it has occurred to me that I have never had any gen-u-wine Texas Red. So that is at the top of my list for this year.
If anyone here had found a great spot in Austin, I'd appreciate a heads up. And thanks in advance.
I'll try to contact a friend, their son has a food truck in Austin. He won a chili cookoff (using my hot sauce) but I'm not sure if the food truck offers chili - I think they do mufulettas.
