Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited an iconic Texas BBQ joint, announcing nutrition changes for medical schools and military bases during a trip that included Austin.
Making a smoky pit stop in Austin, Texas, this week, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. kicked off what he called a "national BBQ tour" with a visit to one of the Lone Star State’s most iconic barbecue joints.
"First stop on my national BBQ tour, I visited Terry Black’s to EAT REAL FOOD," Kennedy wrote Thursday on X, sharing photos of him holding a hefty beef rib and standing behind a counter lined with brisket, ribs and other smoked meats.
The real question is, what states does he visit for BBQ that don't have real BBQ? Or will he be trapped in TX having to debate beans in chili being real food AND real chili?
Duanessmokedmeats I was inferring more so that any state other than TX, KS, TN, or NC would incite internet arguments We all know there's great BBQ in each state because at minimum the Pit has member in each of 'em
