This place lived up to it's rep, IMO. It took me back to the ribs I grew up with. My family is from the Memphis area. I grew up eating seasoned and sauced ribs, and these were perfect. Not overly sauced, just tacky. I had ribs, Cornish Hen, BBQ spaghetti and corn on the cob (not pictured). The hen was great, and the spaghetti OK. Never had BBQ spaghetti before, I think I prefer regular spaghetti. Back to the ribs though, cooked just right, good seasoning, good sauce. I need to get back to cooking mine like this. Best ribs I have had in awhile, including my Texas trips. Again, because this is what I grew up with.
As an aside, I almost got engaged again. i sat between a couple of young ladies, and the conversation turned to why i am not married (the place was packed, and there was a 30 minute wait). I told them i am looking, and asked if they were single. One of them looked interested, but right then they called her up for her food. She thought better of it while at the counter. I need a chaperone
