I have found many BBQ shops in Sioux Falls yet nothing in my neck of the woods. There is a new joint coming to town where Lintz Brothers use to be, ironically owned by the same fellas. I tried some of their ribs before they opened, they were nice enough to give me a tour and tasting. Sadly, I don't believe they will do very well, they were dry (overcooked) and lacking in the meat department. I gave them some recommendations on how to help fix this issue, as they are a riblet buffet only kind of shop.
Anyways, I'm looking for something other than Famous Dave's and Dickeys. Something I can take ideas from and "test" my product against theirs.

Try Bunky's in Spearfish. Right next door to Crow Peak Brewery.
