I guess this is a chain restaurant, but it is pretty good. I had the gator bites as an app and chicken and sausage gumbo for my entre. No pics, but good. Not New Orleans, but very close.

It is too long ago and I can’t remember where, but in a small town in one of the Carolina’s (I think North Carolina) we stumbled on a restaurant run by former New Orleans natives. They had Abita beer and the food was the real deal.Last edited by LA Pork Butt; June 28, 2023, 05:06 AM.

Never heard of it, so I looked it up. There is one north of me in Rancho Cucamonga. I see they have shrimp and oyster po'boys. I wonder who they purchase the seafood from.

The gumbo sounds great. I can't eat gator. I've tried it twice down in Florida (years apart) at two different restaurants. Both times I got severe food poisoning or am HIGHLY allergic to it. The second time I tried it was the evening before a scuba diving trip. I was stuck in the room all day on the toilet with a garbage can in front of me.
