Menu has been released. I’ve had almost all of these, but the Silo of Piggies is new this year.

A+: pork belly burnt ends, tacos
A: pork bbq, pigs in a blanket
A-: grenade, pierogies, balls, porker, explosion, meatloaf, mac & cheese

C: chicken ate the hog, mozzarella sticks

The regular menu has bacon wrapped rib racks that are an A-. Over the years a lot of things have been dropped that would have been between A- and C. I’ve posted a few past menus if you want to check. The one that I’d love to see again is the ramen, it was exceptional, but it was only one year and that chef has moved on.

No better reason there is to visit PA for a week, but then I just may have to stay.
I bet they even have PBR in PA.

Love the creativity. What are you eating this year and how many times can you go before it is too much?

Too bad they don’t offer a combination offer of say 3 different meals on three days to encourage repeat visits. Or maybe that isn’t an issue for bacon lovers.

The place is COMPLETELY PACKED every single day of Bacon Week, with walk ins waiting to see if they can get a seat at the bar. They could raise the prices $5 for each entree and that would still be the case!

They also discourage take out, but if you order ahead of time and pick it up when they open they’ll allow it. But if I called for carry out at 6:30, they’d just say, “Sorry, no can do.” The kitchen operates at its max for those five days.

I’ll probably order takeout, call it in for a 5:00 pickup; that worked last year. The grenade, the tacos, burnt ends and bbq sandwich.
